Yealink W79P Pro — Rugged DECT IP Phone System with W59R Pro Handset
IP67 · 2 m dropUp to 10 handsets20 concurrent callsEmergency & man-down alarms
The Yealink W79P Pro (Yealink part number 1302036) is a professional rugged DECT IP phone system made up of a SIP DECT base station and a W59R Pro handset, built for warehouses, factories, hospitals and other challenging environments.
The handset is IP67-rated, drop-resistant to 2 m, made with antimicrobial and chemical-resistant materials and adds an emergency button with automatic alarms. The base supports up to 10 W59R Pro handsets, 10 SIP accounts and 20 simultaneous calls, and can be scaled with repeaters and multi-cell bases.
Compatibility note: Needs a SIP-based phone system or VoIP provider — it is not a stand-alone analogue phone. The base registers W59R Pro handsets; coverage extension uses Yealink DECT repeaters or multi-cell bases, sold separately.

Singular Expert Insight
The W79P Pro is for sites where ordinary DECT handsets break or get lost in the dust: IP67, 2 m drops and man-down alarms make it a real lone-worker safety tool as well as a phone. Offices and reception desks do not need this ruggedness — a standard Yealink DECT system is the more economical choice there.
✓ Buy it if your staff work in warehouses, production or healthcare and need rugged, washable handsets with safety alarms.
✕ Skip it if your users sit in offices and just need cordless calls.
→ Also consider a standard Yealink W7x DECT system for office environments.
