The Zebra ZD510-HC is a specialised cartridge-fed wristband printer for patient identification and guest admission. This ZD51013-D0ER00FZ configuration connects through USB or Ethernet; it does not include Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It prints text, graphics and barcodes directly onto compatible heat-sensitive Z-Band wristbands, without a ribbon. The printer, medical-grade power supply and EU/UK power cords are included.

Before you order:
Choose the correct Z-Band cartridge, wristband size and closure for the application, and verify your host software/driver integration. No wristband cartridge is confirmed in this SKU’s package. Leave 153 mm above the printer to load a cartridge. The healthcare speed limit is 51 mm/s; 102 mm/s applies to Z-Band Fun and Splash.

  • For example, insert the selected wristband cartridge, connect the printer to a compatible workstation or network, and send a wristband format from your application. The cartridge smartchip handles media calibration; the application supplies the patient or guest data.

Zebra specifies up to 51 mm/s for healthcare wristbands and up to 102 mm/s for Z-Band Fun/Splash. Speed is set according to the installed cartridge.
Do I need ink or a ribbon?
No ribbon is required for direct thermal printing. You need a suitable Z-Band wristband cartridge and compatible host software; a cartridge is not confirmed as included.
