The industrial-green DS3678-SR3U42A0SFW combines a cordless Standard Range 1D/2D scanner with its 3100 mAh battery, standard charging/communication cradle, shielded USB cable, power supply and DC cable. The scanner sends decoded labels, QR and Data Matrix codes by Bluetooth to the cradle; USB links the cradle to your compatible host application. An AC mains cord is separate. Your application handles inventory or production records.

Before you order:
This No Line Cord kit needs a separately selected AC mains cord for the supplied power supply. FIPS configuration does not by itself establish a particular certificate or firmware approval for your installation. SR ranges vary with barcode size; this is not the XR/ER optical version.

  • 1 × DS3678-SR0F003VZWW scanner with standard 3100 mAh battery.
  • STB3678-C100F3WW cradle; CBA-U42-S07PAR shielded USB cable; PWR-BGA12V50W0WW power supply; CBL-DC-451A1-01 DC cable.
  • AC mains cord, host and application are separate.

What It Means in Practice

  • Connect the standard cradle to the host using the USB cable. Complete the power arrangement with the included power supply/DC cable and a separately selected AC cord, then charge, pair and configure the scanner.
  • During receiving, scan a carton label while moving around the workstation. The host application records the item; vibration, LEDs and sound confirm a successful decode.
  • Return the scanner to its cradle to charge. AutoConfig and Virtual Tether are available with the appropriate configuration; other wired host interfaces and Network Connect need separately selected equipment.

What Will Not Work

  • No AC mains cord, independent inventory application, Wi-Fi radio or built-in Ethernet port.
  • SR symbol-specific ranges are not the long-distance specifications of XR/ER; use the correct optical version for the actual labels.

What is missing from this USB kit?
The AC mains cord is separate. The scanner with battery, standard cradle, shielded USB cable, power supply and DC cable are included.
Can it read every barcode from 1.5 metres?
No. The published 152.4 cm far distance is for a large 40 mil Code 128. Smaller codes and other symbologies have shorter ranges.
Does FIPS mean my installation is automatically approved?
No. Confirm the exact certificate, firmware and deployment requirements for your host/security policy before selecting this configuration.
