This Twilight Black DS8108-SR kit includes the corded 1D/2D scanner, shielded CBA-U21-S07ZBR USB cable and 20-71043-04R Intellistand. The included stand is its practical difference from the AZW USB kit: a new countertop position has both host connection and support. Scan product labels or phone codes and let the configured host application perform price lookup or validation.

Before you order:
SGW adds the 20-71043-04R stand to the same black SR scanner and shielded USB cable supplied in AZW. DS8108 is corded: this stand is a support, not a charging cradle. Other host interfaces need the appropriate cable and setup.

Distance depends on the label
Typical UPC 13 mil reaches 61.0 cm, while QR 20 mil is 0.3–44.7 cm. Do not treat one headline range as a guarantee for every small or dense label.
 
Complete support package
The SGW kit supplies the scanner, shielded USB and gooseneck stand. AZW omits the stand; the reading engine is shared.

Does DS8108 have a battery?
No. Battery and Bluetooth specifications on the family sheet apply to cordless DS8178.
Can it read QR from a phone?
It supports QR and screen-code reading. The host application must accept and interpret the data.
