The Zebra Handi-Mount with base plate is a compact RAM-arm mounting kit that fixes a QLn420, ZQ630 or ZQ630 Plus mobile printer to a forklift or other vehicle, for warehouses that print labels at the point of picking or put-away.
Zebra describes it as the more compact mounting option for these 4-inch printers. This version includes the RAM arm and two plates, a mounting plate plus a base plate, for extra stability on vehicles that see vibration all day.
Before you order: For QLn420, ZQ630 and ZQ630 Plus printers only. The printer and its vehicle power are sold separately.

What It Means in Practice
- The printer sits where the driver can reach it, so labels are printed and applied without walking back to a desk.
- The base plate gives a firmer fixing point on the vehicle. Zebra designates this kit for permanent mounting of the printer to a forklift.
- Zebra commonly pairs the Handi-Mount with its 12-48 VDC battery eliminator (P1050667-140), which powers the printer from the vehicle so it does not depend on its battery during a shift. That adapter is a separate purchase.
- Fitting to the vehicle should be done by someone who can drill and secure the base to a solid surface; send us photos of the mounting point if you want a second opinion.
What Will Not Work
- It does not fit the QLn220, QLn320, ZQ610, ZQ620, ZQ500 or ZQ300 printers. Those use other mounts and cradles.
- It does not power or charge the printer. Add the 12-48 VDC battery eliminator if the printer must run from vehicle power.
- Do not order P1050667-033 by mistake if you need the base plate: that version has the RAM arm and only one plate.
- It is a fixed mount. If drivers need to lift the printer out quickly, Zebra offers a non-fixed vehicle cradle for the QLn420 instead.
