The black LI4278 kit combines a cordless linear imager, Standard communication/charging cradle and USB cable. It reads printed and on-screen linear barcodes for checkout and stock tasks without a cable tethering the reader to the counter.

Before you order:
This is a 1D reader. It does not decode QR or Data Matrix. The included Standard cradle provides a 10 m radio range; 100 m specifications refer to the separate Presentation cradle.

What Will Not Work

One-dimensional codes, including screens
Linear imaging supports common retail labels and compatible 1D coupons shown on a phone. A code being displayed on a screen does not make QR decoding possible.
 
Move around the counter
Bluetooth separates the reader from the USB-connected base. The Standard cradle in this kit supports 10 m range; walls, interference and installation conditions affect coverage.
 
Battery and batch workflow
Up to 57,000 scans or 72 hours per charge are manufacturer maxima. Batch mode can store over 500 UPC codes outside radio range for upload after reconnection; it is not live stock synchronisation while disconnected.

Does the USB cable plug into the scanner?
The kit uses the USB cable between the Standard cradle and host. The reader communicates wirelessly with its cradle.
Can it read QR codes?
No. It is a 1D linear imager, even when reading a barcode from a phone screen.
Is the radio range 100 m?
With the included Standard cradle it is 10 m. The manufacturer’s 100 m line-of-sight figure applies to the different Presentation cradle configuration.
