Zebra ZC350 Dual-Sided Colour Card Printer, 300 dpi, Magnetic + Contact + MIFARE Contactless Encoders, USB

The Zebra ZC350 (ZC36-FM0R000EM00) is a dual-sided direct-to-card printer that prints and encodes ID, access, membership and loyalty cards in one pass, with a magnetic stripe encoder, an ISO 7816 contact encoder and a MIFARE contactless encoder built in.

It prints full colour or monochrome edge-to-edge on standard CR80 cards at 300 dpi, flips the card internally to print the back, and holds 100 cards in both the input and output hoppers. This configuration connects to the PC over USB 2.0 and ships with UK and EU mains cords.

• One pass per card: the printer prints the front, flips the card, prints the back and encodes the chip and magnetic stripe before the card reaches the output hopper. Cards that fail encoding go to the 10-card reject bin instead of mixing with good cards.
• Throughput: Zebra rates about 150 full-colour dual-sided cards per hour (YMCKOK), 225 single-sided colour, 500 dual-sided black and 1,000 single-sided black. Real speed depends on the host PC and encoding.
• Encoding: the magnetic encoder writes tracks 1–3 in high or low coercivity (ISO 7811). The contact station is ISO 7816, EMV Level 1 certified and PC/SC compliant, and the contactless encoder handles MIFARE ISO 14443 A and B. Your card software must support the encoder you plan to use.
• Cards: CR80 (ISO 7810 ID-1) and CR79, 0.25–1.0 mm (10–40 mil), PVC and PVC composite, including adhesive-back and writable-back cards. Full colour needs cards of at least 0.5 mm (20 mil); thinner cards and CR79 take spot colour or monochrome only.
• Ribbons: use ZC300-series ribbons with the intelligent chip. For colour on both sides you need YMCKOK; YMCKO prints colour on the front only. A cleaning roller comes with every ribbon.
• Operation: a colour LCD, three status lights, an LED-lit manual feed slot and the Print Touch NFC tag (for Zebra help videos on Android) make day-to-day use straightforward for front-desk staff.

• ZXP ribbons: ribbons from Zebra ZXP Series printers do not fit the ZC350. Only ZC300-series ribbons work.
• Network printing: there is no Ethernet or Wi-Fi on this configuration, so it must be connected to one PC by USB.
• Card sizes: CR80 and CR79 only. It does not print larger cards, paper badges or labels.
• Lamination: the ZC350 does not laminate. For extra durability use an overlay ribbon (e.g. YMCKLL long-life or holographic overlay).
• Consumables: ribbons and blank cards are ordered separately.
