Zebra TC58 — Rugged Mobile Computer, SE55, 8GB/128GB
SE55 Advanced Range imager5G + Wi-Fi 6E8GB / 128GBIP65 / IP68
The Zebra TC58 (TC58B1-3T1K6B1080-A6) is a rugged mobile computer running Android, configured with the SE55 Advanced Range imager, 8GB RAM / 128GB storage and 5G cellular plus Wi-Fi 6E — built for retail floors, warehouses, field service and delivery teams.
With 5G and GNSS it stays connected for delivery, field service and multi-site retail work. It has a 6.0" FHD+ 1080 x 2160, 600 nits, Gorilla Glass, glove/wet touch display, Qualcomm 6490 octa-core 2.7 GHz and a 4680 mAh PowerPrecision+ Li-ion battery with warm swap, and is rated IP65/IP68 with 1.8 m drop resistance (with protective case).
Before you order: Charging accessories (cradle, cable or power supply) are not in the box. The Zebra TC58 is sold in several versions — this one (TC58B1-3T1K6B1080-A6) has the SE55 engine, 8GB/128GB and 5G; double-check before ordering a different code.

What It Means in Practice
- The SE55 IntelliFocus engine reads a code in your hand and a pallet label on a high rack (up to about 12 m) with the same trigger — no need for a second long-range scanner in the warehouse.
- The 5G modem (nano-SIM + eSIM) keeps the device online outside Wi-Fi coverage — for delivery, field service and yard work.
- Battery: warm swap lets you change the battery without losing the session for a short time; 7000 mAh extended batteries are sold separately.
- Zebra Mobility DNA tools and Android Enterprise let IT stage, lock down and update the fleet with an MDM.
What Will Not Work
- Voice and data need a SIM or eSIM plan from your carrier — none is supplied.
- No charger, cradle or USB power supply in the box — order the matching charging accessory separately.
- The SE55 is an advanced-range engine; it is not a DPM reader for codes marked directly on metal parts.
- Not suitable for intrinsically safe (ATEX) zones.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Android version does it run?
The TC53/TC58 platform started on Android 11 and Zebra supplies newer Android releases through LifeGuard updates; check zebra.com for the current supported versions before you standardise.
Can I use my old TC52/TC57 accessories?
Not reliably — the TC53/TC58 has its own cradles and batteries. Tell us what you have and we will check.
Is there a protective boot in the box?
No. The 1.8 m drop rating applies with the protective case, which is sold separately.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Choose the Zebra TC58 in this exact configuration when you need the SE55 engine with 8GB/128GB and 5G. Budget for charging: cradles, batteries and cables are separate, and you will find them in our
Data Terminal Accessories section.
✓ Buy it if your staff work inside and outside Wi-Fi coverage and need a 6-inch 5G Android handheld with the SE55 engine.
✕ Skip it if you only work on Wi-Fi — the WLAN-only TC53 costs less.
→ Also consider the newer Zebra TC58e, or the ultra-rugged TC78.
Not sure it fits your setup? Send us the model of your rack, switch or device and we will check compatibility before you order.
