The Zebra DS2208 is an affordable 1D/2D corded area imager designed for retail POS, hospitality, and light manufacturing environments. Powered by Zebra's PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology, the DS2208 delivers first-time, every-time scanning of all 1D and 2D barcodes — including damaged, wrinkled, and poorly printed codes — as well as barcodes on mobile phone screens. Auto-host detect cables plug directly into the POS system and identify the interface automatically. This 3200AZW kit includes the scanner with a shielded 9 ft coiled USB cable (CBA-U32-C09ZAR, 2.9 m extended) — the coiled design retracts neatly to keep counter areas tidy while providing full reach when needed.

DS2208 vs LS2208: The LS2208 is a 1D-only laser scanner. The DS2208 adds full 2D capability (QR codes, PDF417, Data Matrix, mobile screen scanning) with backwards cable compatibility. The same coiled cable style used on LS2208 installations can be replicated with this 3200AZW kit.
