This Twilight Black DS2278-SR kit includes the cordless 1D/2D reader, CR2278 presentation/charging cradle and shielded USB cable. Scan labels or phone codes by hand, then place the reader in its cradle for hands-free presentation use and charging. Unlike reader-only SKUs, the cradle and host USB cable are supplied.

A 640 × 480 imager supports common retail codes, QR, Data Matrix, PDF417 and postal formats. PRZM processing helps with poor-quality codes.
 
Cordless host connection
Bluetooth 4.0 with BLE supports HID and Serial Port profiles. Actual range depends on the paired device and environment.
 
The cradle changes the workflow
Use the included presentation cradle for counter scanning and charging. A standard USB source takes 17 h for a full empty-to-full charge in the detailed Zebra table; BC1.2 USB or an external 5 V source reduces this to 5 h. Faster charging needs a suitable source.
