The Zebra P1063406-045 is the genuine USB cable with twist lock for the Zebra ZQ500 series mobile printers — ZQ510, ZQ520, ZQ511 and ZQ521. Zebra describes it as a USB cable for connecting a ZQ500 series printer, or its vehicle / single-slot charging cradle, to a PC or laptop. It runs from a USB-A plug to a Micro-USB B plug and is 1.8 m (6 ft) long.
A plastic twist-lock cap turns clockwise over the printer’s USB port to give strain relief, so the plug stays in when the printer is handled. Use it for setup with Zebra Setup Utilities, firmware updates and wired printing.
Before you order: For ZQ500 series printers only. QLn and ZQ600 series use Zebra P1031365-055, and the ZQ300 series uses a USB-C cable. Do not confuse it with Zebra P1063406-047, a short USB Micro A/B to USB-A converter for memory sticks.

- Twist-lock strain relief keeps the Micro-USB plug from working loose on a moving printer.
What Will Not Work
- It will not fit QLn, ZQ600, ZQ300 or ZQ200 series printers.
- It is not the P1063406-047 converter for USB memory sticks, nor the P1063406-049 USB-to-serial cable.
- It does not replace the printer power supply for charging.
