The Zebra CBA-U51-S16ZAR is a 5-metre (16 ft) USB cable with a USB Type-A host connector for the Zebra MP6000 and MP7000 multi-plane bi-optic scanner and scanner-scales used at supermarket checkouts. Zebra’s Universal Cable Guide for barcode scanners lists it as "MP6000 USB 5M cable, Type A connector" with the note "MP6000/MP7000 only".
The extra length is useful in checkout lanes where the POS terminal sits further from the in-counter scanner than a standard cable reaches.
Before you order: Zebra marks this cable as MP6000/MP7000 only — it does not fit handheld scanners (DS22xx, DS4608, LS2208 and similar), which use the CBA-U2x/U3x families. Zebra’s cable guide notes the cable has been superseded by a 12 ft USB Type-A version (CBA-U54-S12ZAR) for new installs; ask us if you are planning a new lane.
