The Zebra Z-Perform 1000T 148 x 210 mm (A5) (76524) is an economy uncoated thermal transfer paper label on a 76 mm core for Zebra industrial printers, packed 4 rolls to a box with 700 labels per roll. It is aimed at high-volume box and packaging labels, product identification, work-in-progress and warehouse shipping and receiving labels.
Z-Perform is Zebra's economy, uncoated paper range. Zebra specifies high initial tack and good adhesion on corrugated packaging for applications of less than three years, and the material is BPA and latex free.
Before you order: This is a 76 mm core industrial roll (approx. 182 mm outer diameter). It will not mount on a desktop printer, which takes 25 mm cores and smaller rolls. At 148 mm wide it needs a 6-inch printer such as the ZT421 or ZT620 — it will not fit 4-inch models like the ZT411 or ZT231.

What It Means in Practice
- 148 x 210 mm is A5 — large enough for full pallet labels, hazard and compliance information or document-style shipping labels.
- Uncoated paper keeps cost down on high-volume runs; for most box and shipping labels it prints and scans perfectly well with a wax ribbon.
- Thermal transfer: the printer melts ink from a ribbon onto the labels, so the image resists heat and light and lasts much longer than direct thermal print.
- Buying 4 rolls per box keeps a spare roll next to the printer and lowers the cost per label.
What Will Not Work
- Printing without a ribbon — thermal transfer media needs a ribbon loaded (Zebra 2300/2100 wax)
- Applications needing more than about three years of label life, or the sharpest small barcodes — choose coated Z-Select 2000T for that
