The Zebra ZD6A043-D4EF00EZ is a 300 dpi ZD621d direct thermal printer configured for linerless labels, with a linerless cutter and label-taken sensor. Linerless stock has no separate backing liner to peel away: the printer cuts the printed length ready for application. This is one wired printer with USB, USB Host, Ethernet and serial connections; Wi-Fi is not included. Some existing family illustrations show multiple configurations together.

Before you order:
Choose suitable Zebra ZeroLiner stock and verify width, core, thickness and application requirements. The linerless cutter needs at least 25.4 mm between cuts; shorter labels can cause jams. This is a specialised linerless configuration, not simply the standard liner/tag cutter. BLE is for Zebra setup, not ordinary Bluetooth printing.

What It Means in Practice

  • For example, load approved linerless stock, connect a compatible label application over USB or Ethernet and send a label layout. The direct thermal head prints without ribbon and the fitted cutter separates the label. The label-taken sensor detects removal; check application settings for the required dispensing workflow.
  • Without a backing liner, there is no liner to collect after each application. Stock selection and minimum cut length still matter: ordinary paper or an unsuitable adhesive roll is not a substitute for approved linerless media.

What Will Not Work

  • Ribbon-based thermal transfer is not supported by this direct thermal model.
  • Cuts shorter than 25.4 mm can cause cutter jams. Wi-Fi and full Bluetooth label-printing connectivity are not supplied.
