The Zebra ZD6A143-32EF00EZ is a 300 dpi ZD621t desktop label printer with a colour touch LCD and fitted standard media cutter. It supports thermal transfer using 74 m or 300 m ribbon, or direct thermal printing without ribbon, with up to 108 mm printable width. USB, USB Host, Ethernet and serial are fitted; Wi-Fi is not included. This is one printer, although existing family illustrations show more than one model.

Before you order:
The standard cutter is for label backing, light tags or receipts. Zebra says not to cut through labels, adhesive or embedded circuitry. Keep at least 25.4 mm between cuts and use suitable media within the thickness/width limits. BLE 5 is for Zebra’s setup app only, not ordinary Bluetooth label printing.

What It Means in Practice

  • For example, load suitable thermal-transfer tags and a matching ribbon, calibrate the sensor and send the layout from compatible software over USB or Ethernet. The cutter separates the permitted tag or backing material at the configured interval. The application supplies barcode and business data.
  • For adhesive labels, arrange cuts through the backing gap rather than through the label/adhesive. This standard cutter is different from the specialised linerless cutter; changing stock alone does not convert the printer to linerless operation.

What Will Not Work

  • You need to cut through adhesive labels, embedded circuits or intervals shorter than 25.4 mm.
  • Wi-Fi and full Bluetooth printing are not supplied. Linerless operation requires a different verified configuration.

Can the cutter cut through self-adhesive labels?
No. Zebra specifies liner/tag/receipt cutting and prohibits cutting through labels, adhesive or embedded circuitry. Plan cutting positions in the backing gap.
What is the minimum cut length?
At least 25.4 mm between cuts. Shorter lengths can jam the cutter or cause errors.
Is this a linerless or wireless printer?
This is a standard media-cutter thermal transfer/direct thermal configuration. It has wired print connections and BLE setup; Wi-Fi and a linerless cutter are not included.
