The Zebra P1058930-012 is the genuine 203 dpi replacement printhead for the Zebra ZT420 and ZT421 6-inch industrial label printers, including the ZT421 RFID. It is for warehouses and production lines whose labels show white lines, faded areas or unreadable barcodes caused by a worn or damaged printhead.
The printhead is the part that actually forms every dot on the label. Abrasive labels, ribbon edges, dust and excessive pressure gradually burn out heating elements, which shows as thin vertical voids running through text and barcodes. A new head restores full, even print across the width.
Before you order: This head is for the 6-inch ZT420 and ZT421 at 203 dpi only. Do not order it for a ZT410 or ZT411: those 4-inch printers use different heads (P1058930-009 for 203 dpi). If your ZT420 / ZT421 is a 300 dpi unit, the matching head is P1058930-013. The resolution is printed on the printer configuration label.

What Will Not Work
- It does not fit the 4-inch ZT410 or ZT411, or other Zebra series such as ZT600 or Xi4.
- It will not work as a 300 dpi head; a 300 dpi ZT420 / ZT421 needs P1058930-013.
- It is not the 203 dpi conversion kit (P1058930-023); it is the printhead only.
- It will not fix feed, sensor or platen roller problems, which are separate parts.
