Unlike a USB-C splitter, this gives you an actual 3.5 mm socket — your existing wired headphones plug straight in, with no second dongle. A built-in digital-to-analog converter does the conversion properly rather than relying on the phone having analogue audio on its USB-C pins, which most modern phones no longer do. Charging runs from 5 W up to 60 W and supports both Power Delivery and Quick Charge 2.0, so a phone or even a light laptop charges at a sensible rate while music plays. The cable is 19.6 cm with a TPE jacket and gloss polycarbonate housings.
