Club 3D DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI Active Cable 2 m

Run a 4K 60 Hz HDR TV or monitor from a graphics card or PC DisplayPort output.
4K 60 HzHDR · 12 bpcActive
The Club 3D CAC-1083 is a 2 m active cable with a DisplayPort 1.4 male plug on the source end and an HDMI male plug on the display end, converting to HDMI 2.0 video at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz with HDR and 12-bit deep colour. The active conversion means it works from standard DisplayPort outputs on graphics cards and PCs, not only dual-mode (DP++) ports.
Compatibility Note: This is a DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable, not USB-C. It works in one direction only: DisplayPort source (PC, graphics card) to HDMI display — it cannot connect an HDMI laptop to a DisplayPort monitor.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between CAC-1083, CAC-1082 and CAC-1080?
All three convert DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI at 4K 60 Hz with HDR. CAC-1082 is the earlier 2 m cable that Club 3D lists as HDMI 2.0b, and CAC-1080 is the short adapter version for use with an existing HDMI cable.
Can I use it to watch HDR content on a TV from my PC?
Yes. With a graphics card that outputs HDR over DisplayPort and an HDR-capable HDMI TV, the CAC-1083 passes HDR at up to 4K 60 Hz.
Singular Expert Insight
A straightforward way to connect a desktop graphics card with spare DisplayPort outputs to an HDMI TV or monitor at 4K 60 Hz with HDR. Being active, it avoids the resolution limits of passive DP-to-HDMI cables.
✓ Buy it if your PC or GPU has a free DisplayPort output and your TV or monitor has only HDMI.
✕ Skip it if you need 4K 120 Hz or 8K on an HDMI 2.1 TV — this cable tops out at 4K 60 Hz.
→ Also consider the Club 3D CAC-1080 adapter if you already have a good HDMI cable.
