The Club 3D CAC-1023 is a 3-metre DisplayPort 1.4 extension cable with a male plug at one end and a female socket at the other, designed to add reach to a DisplayPort run without dropping the link below HBR3 and its 32.4 Gbps ceiling. Sold under part number CAC-1023, it supports 8K 60Hz with Display Stream Compression 1.2, carries HDR and up to 32 audio channels, and uses 28AWG conductors inside a soft Ultra-Flex jacket that protects the cable from bends and deformation damage. Compatibility — check before buying:
This is an extension rather than a standalone display cable — a normal DisplayPort cable still plugs into the female end. Signal integrity across the finished run depends on both cables together, so pairing a 28AWG HBR3 extension with a thin or older HBR2 primary cable limits the result to whatever the weaker link can carry. Reaching 8K 60Hz requires DSC 1.2 support on the graphics card and the monitor. Both ends are full-size DisplayPort, so Mini DisplayPort and USB-C sources need a different product. Note that three metres of extension on top of an existing cable is a long total run for passive copper — if you are heading past roughly six metres in total, an active repeater or a fibre-optic DisplayPort cable is the safer approach.
