DECT reaches up to 120 metres, so a call can follow you to the far side of the floor. Part number 8J8V4AA#ABB is the 1880 to 1900 MHz version, which is the European DECT band.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The single most important thing to know: this system connects to a desk phone over an RJ-11 telephone interface cable, and nothing in the box connects it to a computer. If you want a wireless headset for a laptop and softphone, this is the wrong product. Two further points. Remote call answering — picking up a call from across the room — needs an HL10 handset lifter or an electronic hook switch cable that matches your phone, and neither is included. And the frequency band matters: the North American CS540A runs at 1920 to 1930 MHz and is not the right part for Cyprus.
