The black Datalogic DSM0422-DL is a compact fixed-position 1D/2D scan module for integration into kiosks, ticket readers, access-control equipment and laboratory systems. It includes the 50 cm USB cable and a five-side mounting bracket. Install the module in the equipment, connect its USB interface to a compatible host and configure the receiving application. It captures barcode data; the host software performs ticket validation, item lookup or access decisions.

Before you order:
This is the MP-DL USB model with a 42° × 32° field of view. MP-WA uses wider optics, while RS-232 and RJ45 multi-interface modules are different part numbers. Check mounting geometry, barcode size and scan distance before integration; the module is not a standalone kiosk or inventory computer.

What's in the Box

  • 1 × DSM0422-DL MP-DL scan module with 50 cm USB cable.
  • 5-side mounting bracket. Host computer, application and finished equipment enclosure are separate.

What It Means in Practice

  • Mount the module at the intended presentation point and choose triggered, autosense or software-triggered operation for the equipment workflow.
  • For a ticket kiosk, the customer presents a supported barcode in front of the window. The module sends its data over USB; your application checks the booking and controls the next step.
  • Select USB HID keyboard output or an appropriate COM/OEM mode supported by the host application. Green Spot, the top LED and beeper provide configurable good-read feedback.

What Will Not Work

  • No Bluetooth, battery-powered handheld operation or independent ticket/inventory database.
  • Do not apply the wider MP-WA field of view, WVGA resolution or other models’ RS-232/RJ45 interface to this USB MP-DL SKU.
