This black GD4520-BKK1-HD kit combines the High Density 1D/2D scanner with a USB host cable. HD optics are intended for smaller, condensed codes: the specified resolution is 3 mil for linear/PDF417 and 4 mil for Data Matrix. This does not mean longer range than Standard Range optics; the HD ranges in the table show the working distances for each code size. The host application handles the meaning of the scanned data.

Before you order:
BKK1-HD includes scanner and USB cable 90A052258. A stand or All-in-One permanent base is not included. GD4520 is USB-only; GD4590 offers other host interfaces. HD is a different optical focus from SR, so test representative small labels at your working distance.

How is HD different from SR?
HD targets smaller, condensed codes. For example, its typical EAN-13 13 mil range is 1.0–40.0 cm, while SR is 1.0–71.0 cm under the sheet conditions. Choose the focus for label size and working distance, not the HD name alone.
Does the kit include a stand?
No. It includes the black HD scanner and USB90A052258 cable. A stand must be ordered separately.
Does Motionix make it wireless?
No. Motionix switches scanning modes as the reader is handled. Data and power remain on the USB cable.
