Best For: Retail stores, pharmacies, light manufacturing, and warehouses where Wi-Fi interference is a concern and all-day cordless scanning is essential. The 433 MHz STAR radio is ideal for environments with dense Wi-Fi networks or where Bluetooth scanner range is insufficient.
STAR 433 MHz vs. Bluetooth: Bluetooth scanners share the 2.4 GHz band with Wi-Fi and can experience interference or range limitations in crowded wireless environments. STAR 433 MHz operates on a dedicated narrow-band frequency with no Wi-Fi overlap, delivering more consistent range and reliability in complex RF environments.
1D Only: The GM4200 scans 1D barcodes only — it cannot read QR codes, Data Matrix, or PDF417. If 2D scanning is required, consider the Datalogic Gryphon GBT4500 (Bluetooth 2D) or the GD4520 corded 2D variant.
Complete Setup Requires: GM4200-BK-433-WLC scanner + WLC4190-BK-433 wireless charging base + USB-C cable. The base connects to your host via USB-C and handles both communication and wireless charging simultaneously.
