The Delock 12461 is a USB 2.0 dual band WLAN nano stick that adds 802.11ac Wi-Fi to a laptop or desktop PC, with up to 433 Mbps on 5 GHz and 150 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. At just 22 x 16.4 x 8.5 mm it can stay permanently in a laptop USB-A port, which makes it a good replacement for a failed or 2.4 GHz-only internal Wi-Fi card.
It uses the Realtek RTL8811CU chipset with an internal 2 dBi PIFA antenna, supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 security, WPS and DFS, and runs on Windows 7, 8.1, 10 and 11. The driver comes on the included CD.
Before you order: Delock lists Windows only — macOS and Linux are not officially supported. WPA3 is not listed, so it cannot join WPA3-only networks.
