equip 225461 Cat 5e F/UTP Patch Cable — 2 m Yellow
Foil-shielded budget Gigabit patch cord for desks, printers and patch panels.
Cat 5e100 MHz1 GbpsF/UTP2 m
The equip 225461 is a 2 m yellow Cat 5e F/UTP patch cable rated to 100 MHz for Gigabit Ethernet, with foil shielding, moulded strain-relief boots and 4 × 2 AWG 26/7 copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors — an economical cord for everyday office and home networking.
The overall foil (F/UTP) adds protection against interference compared with a plain U/UTP cord, and the moulded boots protect the plugs. It complies with TIA/EIA-568-C.2 and RoHS. Part number 225461, EAN 4015867143957. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy — compatibility notes
The conductors are CCA (copper-clad aluminium), not solid copper. CCA is fine for short Gigabit data links, but it has higher resistance than copper — avoid it for PoE (access points, cameras, phones) and for long runs; choose a bare-copper cord such as the equip 603xxx series for those. Cat 5e is rated for Gigabit, not 10 Gigabit. equip does not publish the jacket material for this cord.
Key Features
Gigabit Cat 5e
100 MHz Cat 5e performance supports 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet for PCs, printers, TVs and consoles.
Foil shielded
The F/UTP overall foil reduces interference from nearby power cables and devices compared with an unshielded cord.
Moulded boots
Moulded boots with strain relief protect the RJ45 plugs from bending and repeated plugging.

Singular Expert Insight
The equip 225461 is a budget cord for plain Gigabit data links — a PC to a wall socket, a printer to a router, a TV to network switches. Its CCA conductors keep the price down, which is why we do not recommend it for PoE or long runs. For powered devices or 10G, spend a little more on a bare-copper Cat 6A cord such as the equip 603 series.
Buyer's Guide
