The equip 225461 is a 2 m yellow Cat 5e F/UTP patch cable rated to 100 MHz for Gigabit Ethernet, with foil shielding, moulded strain-relief boots and 4 × 2 AWG 26/7 copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors — an economical cord for everyday office and home networking.
The overall foil (F/UTP) adds protection against interference compared with a plain U/UTP cord, and the moulded boots protect the plugs. It complies with TIA/EIA-568-C.2 and RoHS. Part number 225461, EAN 4015867143957. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy — compatibility notes
The conductors are CCA (copper-clad aluminium), not solid copper. CCA is fine for short Gigabit data links, but it has higher resistance than copper — avoid it for PoE (access points, cameras, phones) and for long runs; choose a bare-copper cord such as the equip 603xxx series for those. Cat 5e is rated for Gigabit, not 10 Gigabit. equip does not publish the jacket material for this cord.
