The Equip 129412 is a pocket-sized 2-in-1 installer tool that combines a rotary cable-jacket stripper with a 110-type punch-down blade, made for terminating Cat 5, Cat 5e and Cat 6 cable on keystone jacks. At just 89.4 x 28.8 x 5.5 mm and about 10 g, part number 129412 fits in a shirt pocket or an installer pouch, so the stripping and seating of conductors can be done with one tool.

Compatibility note: The punch-down blade seats wires into 110-style IDC contacts but does not cut the excess conductor, so trim ends with side cutters afterwards. For LSA/Krone strips use a dedicated LSA tool such as the Equip 129119.

Equip rates the stripper for jackets of 5.0 to 6.2 mm, which covers most Cat 5e and standard Cat 6 cable. Many Cat 6A and Cat 7 installation cables are thicker than 6.2 mm, so for those a universal stripper with an adjustable range, such as the Equip 129407 (3.2-9.5 mm), is the better choice.
