equip 133501 — two HDMI outputs, Gigabit Ethernet and power over one USB-C port
Dual HDMIGigabit Ethernet2 × USB-A 5 Gbps100 W PD passthrough
The equip 133501 turns a single USB-C port on a laptop into two HDMI outputs, a wired Gigabit Ethernet socket, two USB-A ports running at 5 Gbps and a 100 W Power Delivery input, all in an aluminium body on a 25 cm captive cable. It is the adapter you keep in a bag for the days when a laptop has to drive a projector and a monitor, get onto a cabled network, and stay charged — from one port. equip’s own name for it is a multifunctional adapter rather than a dock, which is a fair description: it sits on the desk beside the laptop rather than replacing it as a permanent station.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The display behaviour is the thing to understand before you buy. The two HDMI outputs give up to 4K at 30 Hz on a single display; in dual-display mode both outputs drop to 1080p. That is enough for presentations, spreadsheets and dashboards, but it is not the adapter for two 4K monitors or for anything where refresh rate matters. MST extended desktop works on Windows only — on macOS the second output mirrors rather than extends, which is a limitation of Apple’s USB-C implementation and not of this adapter. Your laptop’s USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode; a data-only or charge-only USB-C port will not drive the video outputs. The 100 W Power Delivery input passes charge through to the laptop but no power supply is included — you use your own.
Best For
✓ Presentations that need a projector and a second screen
✓ Ultrabooks that have dropped HDMI and Ethernet entirely
✓ Hot-desking, where the adapter travels with the laptop
✓ Offices with cabled networks and USB-C-only machines
✓ Home setups that need one cable to the laptop
✓ Anywhere a wired network connection beats Wi-Fi for reliability
Key Features
Two HDMI outputs from one USB-C port
Multi-Stream Transport lets a single USB-C connection carry two independent display streams on Windows. A single screen runs at up to 4K at 30 Hz; two screens run at 1080p each. For documents, browsers and presentations that is exactly what is needed.
Gigabit Ethernet on a machine that lost the socket
A full RJ45 port running at up to 1000 Mbps. On a laptop with no Ethernet, this is often the single reason the adapter gets bought — a wired link is steadier than Wi-Fi in a busy office, and some networks still require one.
Two USB-A ports at 5 Gbps
USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for a mouse, a keyboard, a memory stick or an external drive. 5 Gbps is fast enough that copying from a portable SSD is limited by the drive rather than by the adapter.
100 W passthrough charging in an aluminium shell
The USB-C Power Delivery input takes your existing laptop charger and feeds it through, so the one occupied port does not cost you charging. The aluminium case helps shift the heat that a busy adapter produces on a warm desk.

Singular Expert Insight
This adapter is bought for one of two reasons: the Ethernet port, or a second screen. Both are worth having, but be clear-eyed about the video: 4K only on one display, 1080p once both are running, and extended desktop only on Windows. For a presentation laptop or an office machine driving a couple of document screens that is entirely fine; for a 4K editing setup it is not. The 25 cm captive cable and the aluminium body make it a travelling adapter rather than a permanent desk fixture — if the laptop lives in one place, a proper dock from our docking stations section will serve you better, and there is more in the components range if the machine needs more display outputs at source. Send us your laptop model and the screens you want to run and we will confirm it will do the job.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
Your laptop has USB-C and little else, and you need HDMI, a wired network socket and a couple of USB-A ports without carrying three separate dongles. The 100 W passthrough means the port you give up still charges the machine.
Skip it if
You want two high-resolution screens — both outputs fall to 1080p together, and a single one caps at 4K/30. Skip it too if you are on a Mac and expected an extended desktop across two monitors, or if your USB-C port lacks DisplayPort Alt Mode.
Also consider
The equip 4-in-1 dual HDMI adapter if you do not need Ethernet or the second USB-A port, or a full docking station if the laptop stays on one desk and you want higher-resolution dual displays.
