Good Connections 8070R-005G Cat 6A S/FTP Patch Cable, 0.5 m Green
Cat 7 raw cableCat 6A plugs · 500 MHzRNS latch protection0.5 m Green
The Good Connections 8070R-005G is a 0.5 m green S/FTP PiMF patch cable made from Cat 7 raw cable with two shielded Cat 6A RJ45 plugs, AWG 26 oxygen-free copper and a halogen-free jacket, built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet patching.
The part number is 8070R-005G (EAN 4014619324477). Its RNS latch protection (Rastnasenschutz) stops the plug latch from twisting or snapping off — a common failure on busy patch panels. The 6.5 mm cable is flame-retardant to IEC 60332-1, halogen-free to IEC 60754-2, low-smoke to IEC 61034, and wired 1:1 to EIA/TIA-568B with gold-plated contacts. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy
The raw cable is manufactured to Cat 7 specifications, but the RJ45 plugs are Cat 6A, so the link performs as Cat 6A at 500 MHz (the retailer data quoting 600 MHz refers to the raw cable). That is fully sufficient for 10 GbE. Good Connections does not publish a PoE class for this cord.
Key Features
RNS latch protection
The moulded guard keeps the RJ45 latch from bending back or breaking when cables are pulled or re-patched.
Cat 7 raw cable, 10 GbE
S/FTP PiMF Cat 7 cable with AWG 26 99.9 % OFC conductors delivers 10 Gbps at 500 MHz through Cat 6A plugs.
Halogen-free jacket
Flame-retardant, halogen-free and low-smoke — suitable for offices, schools and public buildings.

Singular Expert Insight
In racks that get re-patched often, RNS latch protection saves a lot of broken clips and intermittent links. A 0.5 m length is ideal between network switches and a patch panel. If you want colour coding across a wider length range, Good Connections offers the same line in many colours.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You want a halogen-free 0.5 m shielded cord with Cat 7 raw cable, 10 GbE and latch protection.
