The ICY BOX IB-HUB1403 puts four USB 3.0 Type-A ports where your hand already is: in the cable feed-through hole most office desks already have. It fixes with an adapter ring and no tools, needs 58 mm of clearance underneath, and the hole still passes monitor and power cables around it. A 120 cm USB 3.0 cable is built in and runs straight to the machine, and a dust cover closes the sockets when they are not in use.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Measure first: this needs a 60 mm cable feed-through hole and 58 mm of clearance below the desktop. A 50 mm or 80 mm grommet will not take it, and there is no edge clamp — a desk with no hole is not a candidate. The hub is bus-powered; ICY BOX allows an optional 5 V power supply to be connected for charging devices, but none is included and no per-port current is published. Check the model letter before ordering: the IB-HUB1403A adds a 3.5 mm audio input and output in the same housing, and there is also an IB-HUB1403B — the photographs are nearly identical.

Will it fit my desk?
Two numbers decide it: the hole in the desktop has to be 60 mm across, and there must be 58 mm of clear space underneath for the body. Most office desks with a round plastic cable grommet use 60 mm and the grommet lifts straight out, but 50 mm and 80 mm holes are common too. Measure the hole rather than assume — or tell us the desk model and we will check it with you.
What is the difference between this and the IB-HUB1403A?
Audio. The IB-HUB1403A has the same four USB 3.0 ports plus a 3.5 mm audio input and a 3.5 mm audio output; the IB-HUB1403 you are looking at has the four USB ports only. The cut-out, the depth, the 120 cm integrated cable and the dust cover are identical. There is also an IB-HUB1403B in the family, so order by the full model code rather than by the photograph.
Can I charge a phone from it?
It runs on power from the computer, which is enough for a flash drive, a card reader or a phone cable at ordinary charging rates. ICY BOX allows an optional 5 V power supply to be connected if you want more, but that supply is not in the box and no per-port current figure is published. If fast charging at the desk is the reason you are buying it, tell us what you want to charge and we will confirm what you need.
