The Jabra Evolve2 55 is the compact member of the Evolve2 range and the one that actually cancels noise: it is a wireless on-ear office headset with active noise cancellation, a 360-degree busylight and a boom arm you flip up to mute. This article, 25599-999-989, is the MS stereo version with the Jabra Link 380a adapter for a USB-A port, supplied with the charging stand. At 28 mm the drivers are smaller than the Evolve2 65 and the battery is shorter, but the ANC and the newer Bluetooth 5.2 radio are what you are buying here.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The adapter in this box plugs into a USB-A port. On a laptop with only USB-C ports you will need your own adapter or hub. There is no 3.5 mm jack and no wired-USB audio mode — the supplied 1.2 m cable charges the headset and nothing else, so a desk phone or a device without Bluetooth cannot use this headset. There is no wireless charging either. This is the Microsoft version: the dedicated button opens Microsoft Teams, and on Zoom, Google Meet, Cisco or Webex the headset works fully but that button has nothing to open. The charging stand is included in this article.

360-degree busylight
The busylight is readable from every angle, turns red automatically during a call, and also lights up to confirm the headset has docked on the charging stand or that a call is coming in. Press both volume buttons together to control it manually.
Two analog and two digital MEMS microphone array
The microphone set keeps your voice clear of the room, and the boom arm mutes the moment you lift it. On the stereo version Jabra publishes two analog plus two digital MEMS microphones.
16 hours, or 10 with ANC running
Jabra publishes up to 16 hours of talk time with ANC and busylight off, and up to 10 hours with both on; music time is 18 hours and 15 hours on the same basis. A full charge takes about two hours, and 30 minutes gets you to roughly half.

You are on calls for eight hours without a break — the Evolve2 65 gives 35 hours against 16 here. Skip it too if you need a 3.5 mm jack, a wired USB connection or a desk-phone connection, because it has none of those.
