The LevelOne POR-0111 is a Gigabit PoE repeater that solves the 100-metre Ethernet limit. Placed in the middle of a long cable run, it takes power and data from the PoE switch or injector and passes them on for another 100 m, so an access point or IP camera can sit further away. Several units can be cascaded for up to 400 m in total. It needs no external power supply and no configuration.

Compatibility — check before buying:
The POR-0111 takes its power from the PoE source upstream, so you need a PoE switch or injector (802.3af/at). The power it passes on is what remains after its own use (under 3 W) and cable losses, so a device near its PoE limit may not start at the far end. It is a repeater, not a switch: one device per chain. LevelOne makes non-Gigabit and 2-port repeaters under other codes. Tell us the exact model you have and we check compatibility before you order.
