SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive Go 128GB — Lightning and USB-A
128GBLightning + USB-ASwivel designiPhone 14 and older
The SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive Go (part number SDIX60N-128G-GN6NE) is a 128GB flash drive with a Lightning connector on one end and a full-size USB 3.0 Type-A connector on the other. It clears photos and video off a Lightning iPhone and plugs straight into a computer afterwards, with no cable and no cloud account. The connector is the whole story here, so please read the note below before ordering. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This drive has a Lightning connector, not USB-C. It fits iPhone 5 through iPhone 14 and Lightning iPads and iPods. It will not fit an iPhone 15, 16 or 17, or any USB-C iPad, because Apple changed those models to USB-C and a Lightning plug cannot enter a USB-C port. If your iPhone charges with a USB-C cable, buy the SanDisk Phone Drive with USB-C instead, or the SanDisk Phone Drive for iPhone, which carries both connectors. SanDisk publishes no read or write speed for this drive at any capacity, so we do not state one. Only one connector can be used at a time; the body swivels between them.
Best For
✓ iPhone 5 through iPhone 14
✓ Lightning iPads and iPods
✓ Clearing space on a full Lightning iPhone
✓ Offline backups without a cloud subscription
✓ Moving photos to a computer through the USB-A end
✓ Households still using Lightning devices
Key Features
Lightning for the phone, USB 3.0 for the computer
One drive covers both ends of the transfer: plug the Lightning end into an iPhone or iPad, then swivel it round and plug the full-size USB-A end into a computer. No cable, no adapter, no network.
Speed: SanDisk publishes none
SanDisk does not state a read or write figure for the iXpand Go at any capacity, and we will not supply one it has not published. What is documented is the interface on the computer side, USB 3.0, and the fact that only one connector is used at a time.
A swivel body with no cap
The housing rotates to expose whichever connector you need and shields the other, so there is nothing to lose. 53 x 12.5 x 12 mm and 7.2 g.
The iXpand Drive app
SanDisk publishes a companion iOS app that handles automatic photo and video backup and password protection. It is a download rather than preloaded software.

Singular Expert Insight
Buy this drive for hardware you already have, not for hardware you are about to buy. Lightning ended with the iPhone 14, so the iXpand Go serves an installed base rather than a growing one — and the most common mistake with this product is ordering it for an iPhone 15 or newer, where it simply cannot connect. If your household spans both generations, the SanDisk Phone Drive for iPhone carries a Lightning plug and a USB-C plug on the same body and is the safer purchase; all three sit together in our USB flash drives range. Where the iXpand Go still does its job well is on an older iPhone with a full camera roll and no cloud subscription, which is a genuinely common situation. If you are unsure which port your phone uses, the specifications in our mobile phones range list it model by model.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You have an iPhone or iPad with a Lightning port and want to clear photos and video off it directly, then plug the same drive into a computer.
Skip it if
Your iPhone is a 15 or newer. It uses USB-C and this drive physically cannot connect to it.
Also consider
The SanDisk Phone Drive with USB-C for iPhone 15 and later, or the SanDisk Phone Drive for iPhone, which has both Lightning and USB-C connectors.
