StarTech.com 156B6-PRIVACY-SCREEN 15.6" 16:10 Bright Laptop Privacy Filter
The StarTech.com 156B6-PRIVACY-SCREEN is a bright privacy filter for 15.6-inch laptops with a 16:10 screen that narrows the viewing angle to ±30 degrees, so people beside you see a dark screen while you see a clear image. It is designed for travellers, hot-desk users and anyone handling confidential data in open offices, trains or cafés.
Microlouver technology with 75% light transmittance keeps the screen around 10% brighter than standard privacy filters, an independent lab test shows 47% blue-light reduction in the 380–450 nm range, and the anti-glare surface stays touch-compatible. The filter flips over to the back of the lid when you want to share the screen, and mounts with side tabs, adhesive strips or flip-over tabs without blocking the webcam or sensors.
