The StarTech.com 2-in-1 Laptop Stand (LTSTND2IN1) is an aluminium stand that either tilts an 11-15" laptop at 17° for typing or holds it upright in clamshell mode next to your monitors, for desks where space is tight.
Vertical mode is ideal when the laptop drives external monitors through a dock and its own screen is closed.
Before you order: In vertical mode the laptop must be 14-16 mm thick — two swappable silicone cradles (14 mm and 16 mm) hold it. Thicker laptops can still use the tilted mode.

What Will Not Work
- Vertical mode with laptops thinner than 14 mm or thicker than 16 mm.
- Laptops larger than 15".
- It does not raise the screen to eye level — use external monitors in vertical mode.
- It has no ports — pair it with a dock for a one-cable setup.
