The StarTech.com EU Computer Power Cord, product ID PXT101EUR, is a 2 m black mains lead with a European Schuko (CEE 7/7) plug on one end and an IEC 60320 C13 connector on the other — the standard “kettle lead” that powers a desktop PC, monitor, printer, scanner, UPS, PDU or television with a C14 inlet. Compatibility — check before buying:
The plug type is the thing to get right. This cord has a Schuko CEE 7/7 plug — the round two-pin continental European plug with side earth contacts — which does not fit a Cyprus or UK BS 1363 wall socket. In Cyprus it is the correct cord for equipment being shipped to or used in continental Europe, for a rack or PDU that provides Schuko outlets, or with a properly rated travel adapter; if you need a cord that plugs straight into a Cyprus wall socket, choose a BS 1363 to C13 lead instead. Note also that although StarTech.com’s title calls it “2-prong”, it is a 3-conductor earthed cord — Schuko carries the protective earth on side contacts rather than on a third pin. The C13 socket fits any device with a C14 inlet; a device with a larger C20 inlet needs a C19 cord. Operating range is 10 °C to 60 °C.

The overmould at both ends locks the conductors to the connector bodies, so pulling the cord out of a tight PDU or from behind a desk stresses the moulding rather than the terminations inside. Loose terminations in a mains connector are a fire risk, not merely a reliability one.
