With EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) plus BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), it pairs reliably with up to 7 devices simultaneously — mouse, keyboard, headset, speakers, printer or game-controller — and falls back gracefully to older Bluetooth versions down to BT 1.1. Its nano form factor means it sits flush in a USB port, so you can leave it plugged in even while travelling.
Compatibility Note: Windows only. The UB500 does not officially support macOS, Linux, smart TVs, or direct console use (PS4/PS5/Xbox). Windows 7 requires a driver download from the TP-Link website; Windows 8.1/10/11 are plug-and-play.
