The Ubiquiti UACC-Rack-PM-Kit is a pack of 20 UniFi SnapMount inserts — 1U snap-in pieces, each with two vertically aligned captive nuts, that clip into a 19-inch rack rail and replace loose cage nuts for fast, uniform installation of UniFi and other rackmount devices.
Each insert covers one rack unit on one rail, so the 20-pack gives enough for 10U of equipment (two inserts per U, left and right). Inserts can be paired to mount larger devices, and they snap out again when you rearrange the rack. They are made of textured PA66 thermoplastic and fit rails up to 2.2 mm thick.
Before you order: The captive nuts are #10-32 (US rack thread), not M6. Use #10-32 screws — M6 screws that come with most European equipment will not thread into them. Ubiquiti also rates them for devices up to 400 mm deep at 1U (10 kg) and 325 mm deep at 2U (20 kg); deeper devices should be supported at the rear.

- Inserts come out again without tools when you re-arrange the rack.
What Will Not Work
- They will not accept M6 screws — the thread is #10-32.
- They are not rated for devices deeper than 400 mm (1U) or 325 mm (2U) without rear support, or above 10 kg (1U) / 20 kg (2U).
- They will not fit rails thicker than 2.2 mm.
- Ubiquiti does not list screws in the pack — only the inserts.
