The Good Connections HUB-C002A is a three-port USB-C hub for a laptop that has run out of everything at once: it adds an HDMI output, one USB-A port at 5 Gbps and a dedicated charging socket, on a 20 cm cable. The body is anthracite aluminium, 9.9 x 2.2 x 1.6 cm and 38 g. It is made by ALCASA Elektronik under its Good Connections brand.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The HDMI output runs at 4K at 30 Hz, not 60. The product name says HDMI 2.0, which usually implies 4K60, but the manufacturer’s own specification states 4K at 30 Hz — and at 30 Hz a mouse pointer visibly stutters on a 4K desktop. For a 4K screen used for spreadsheets and documents it is workable; for anything where pointer feel matters, run the screen at 1080p or choose a hub with a 60 Hz output. The USB-C charging socket carries no data and no video — it exists only to pass power through to the laptop, rated up to 94 W with an approximately 10 W conversion loss published by the manufacturer. No charger is included. There is only one USB-A port, so this is a hub for a screen plus one device, not a hub for a desk full of peripherals. No Ethernet, no card reader.
