The 2069/6 is a six-piece precision nut driver set for electronics work: external hexagon sockets in 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4 and 5 mm on 60 mm blades. These turn the small nuts and hex standoffs that hold circuit boards, connectors and panel hardware in place — the fasteners a screwdriver cannot touch. Each sits in a Kraftform Micro handle with a rotating cap and a fast-turning zone just below it, so the palm stays still while the fingers spin the driver, and a roll-off feature stops the tool leaving the bench. Compatibility — check before buying:
These are external hex nut drivers — they turn nuts and threaded standoffs. They are not internal hex / Allen drivers and will not fit socket-head cap screws. Nothing in the set is insulated or VDE-approved, so despite the “for electronic applications” name they must not be used on live circuits. The shafts are 60 mm, which limits how far a nut can be wound down a long threaded rod. Sizes run 2 to 5 mm only — nothing above 5 mm, and no imperial sizes.
