The Yealink WH68 UC Dual is the noise-cancelling model in Yealink’s DECT headset range. Dual here means dual-ear: a stereo, on-ear headset with memory foam cushions and an adjustable boom arm. Product 1208713 ships with the WHB680 charging base, and the headset runs either over DECT from that base, with up to 185 m of range, or straight over Bluetooth 5.3 to a phone. Six MEMS microphones do two jobs at once — hybrid active noise cancellation for the wearer, and Yealink Acoustic Shield 3.0 for the person on the call. Battery is up to 16 hours on DECT and up to 32 hours on Bluetooth.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Every port on the WHB680 base is USB Type-C or mini USB. There is no USB-A socket on the base and no RJ9 deskphone jack, so this will not plug into a desk phone headset port and a site replacing an older USB-A base should check its cabling. A USB-C to USB-A cable is supplied for older PCs. The external busylight is an optional accessory and is not in the box. Watch the model name too: the WH68 Workstation uses a touchscreen base instead of the plain WHB680, and the WH68 Hybrid is a separate product line with its own specification.
