Mains power cords for computers, monitors, printers, laptops, servers and UPS — with UK, Schuko and IEC C13, C5, C7 and C19 connectors, straight, angled and locking — plus internal PC power cables and adapters for SATA, Molex, PCIe and fans. From Lindy, StarTech.com, Equip, EFB-Elektronik, Delock and other brands.
Which power cable do I need?
- Plug for the wall socket — Cyprus uses the UK plug (BS 1363) with a fuse. Schuko cords are for continental sockets, power strips and PDUs with Schuko outlets.
- C13 (the “kettle” type) — desktop PCs, monitors, printers and most UPS-powered equipment. C5 (“cloverleaf”) — laptop power adapters. C7 (“figure-8”, unearthed) — small devices, TVs and some chargers.
- C14 to C13 — connects equipment to a UPS or rack PDU, or extends an existing C13 cord. C19 / C20 — 16 A connectors for servers, larger UPS units and PDUs.
- Angled and locking connectors — save space behind racks and wall-mounted screens and prevent accidental unplugging.
Inside the PC: SATA and Molex adapters power drives and fans; PCIe 6/8-pin cables feed graphics cards. Do not power a high-wattage graphics card through SATA or Molex adapters — use the PSU’s own PCIe cables.
