All-in-One PCs combine the screen and computer in one unit, with a single power cable and often a built-in webcam and speakers. Ideal for reception desks, meeting rooms, clinics, shared workstations and tidy offices. Business models from HP, Lenovo, Dell and ASUS in 15.6", 24" and 27" sizes, with or without touch.
How to choose the right All-in-One PC
- Screen size. 24" (23.8") suits most desks. 27" gives more room for spreadsheets and side-by-side windows. 15.6" compact touch models fit counters, receptions and kiosks.
- Touch or non-touch. Touch helps at reception, kiosks and shared stations. For typing-heavy office work a non-touch screen is enough.
- Business or home line. Business ranges such as HP EliteOne / EliteStudio / ProStudio, Lenovo ThinkCentre and Dell Pro are built for company networks, with management and security features and steadier model availability over time.
- Plan memory and storage now. The graphics cannot be upgraded on an All-in-One, and memory and storage upgrades are limited on many models. 16 GB of memory and a 512 GB SSD are a sensible start for office use.
- Operating system. Some models ship without Windows (No OS or barebone), so check the listing. For a company domain choose Windows Pro.
- Mounting. Some models can be wall- or arm-mounted with a VESA kit. Check the model if you need this.
- Retail and hospitality. Elo and HP Engage models are made for point of sale; see also POS systems.
