Before you choose
- Drive type. M.2 enclosures support NVMe, SATA or both; check which your SSD is, and the length (2230 to 2280).
- Speed. NVMe enclosures need a USB 3.2 Gen 2 or faster port to beat a SATA SSD.
- 3.5-inch drives. Large drives need an enclosure with its own power adapter.
- Power. Cyprus uses UK three-pin sockets. If a power adapter comes with a European plug, use a UK plug or cable rather than a travel adapter; ask us if you need one.
