USB sticks for carrying files, installing Windows or software, moving photos and keeping small backups: fast USB 3.2 drives, USB-C drives for newer laptops, tablets and phones, and low-cost USB 2.0 sticks for documents and bulk orders. From SanDisk, Kingston, Samsung, Intenso, Verbatim, PNY, Patriot and others.
How to choose
- Speed. For large files choose USB 3.2; USB 2.0 sticks are fine for documents but slow for video and installers.
- Connector. Choose USB-C, or a dual USB-A and USB-C stick, for MacBooks, tablets and phones.
- Formatting. Large sticks come as exFAT; some TVs, car stereos and older devices need FAT32.
